On 17.02.2017 A meeting was held with the Finance Secretary,Economic Affairs ,Mr Shaktikanta Das,IAS by a delegation team ( President,Vice President,Registrar,Dy Registrar,Service Tax lawyer,legal officer of COA) in the following matter....

1. Service Tax relaxation to COA and treating Architect's practice in the line of legal practice,

2. Issuance of completion certificate by Architects for all building projects to the effect that construction has been made as per approved drawings and specifications mostly in public building .It was to ensure the responsibility of Architects.

3.CAG to be requested to make design Audit to be included in Compliance Audit to check misuse of public fund in building activities of Govt.Projects

4. Architecture is to be considered as an Elective subject in +2 Science level so as to upgrade the quality of Education in Architecture adding value at entry level Architecture students .It would also generate employment Architects and awareness about Architects Role in the Society .
